Simple Kohlrabi with Roasted Pistachio's
1-2 Tablespoon Ghee or Coconut oil
1 large or 2-3 small Kohlrabi diced, slice or slivered
2 cloves roasted garlic chopped
Gray Sea Salt
Ground Black Pepper
1 teaspoon dried Sage or 3 Tablespoon fresh Sage
3 Tablespoon Roasted Pistachio
Peel Kohlrabi and dice, slice or sliver.
Heat Ghee or oil in pan until is shimmers. Add Garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add Kohlrabi, Salt, and Pepper to pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add a few tablespoons of water, cover and steam until fork tender - around 8-10 minutes.
Toss Sage and Pistachio and check for Salt/Pepper seasoning.
Enjoy this dish as a side. We'll serve it with a small chopped salad and a light broth soup.
