Exploring the Polarity Element of Air!

Margot & Christine
Welcome to our Polarity Weekend of Air!  We had an amazing insightful weekend exploring  the Air Element with our new APP students.

The Air Element governs movement, mental activity and thoughts.  The Air element arises from the Heart Center/Chakra and is responsible for the qualities of our emotions.
With desire comes the potential for greed or aversion.  Desirelessness opens the door for charity and compassion.  This is an area that we all struggle with as we strive to live a better gentler life.

One of the best ways to address your inner Air is through nature.  Take a step outside and witness the movement of the breeze.  It may be blustery or calm and balanced.  Air whether outside or in our bodies has the power to cleanse.  When working with the Air Element, we strive to bring balance to the  kidneys, adrenals, colon, shoulders, chest, lungs, and ankles.  If your inner Air is stagnant you may feel sluggish and heavy.  If you have excess Air you may feel emotional, confused and "Airy" in your head.  We will mirror Mother Nature ....."As Above So Below - As Within So Without"

So.....what does that mean for you guys?  The weather will be making more changes in the days to come.  Time to get out our hats and scarves. Don't allow the wind to blow through your ears. We mirror our environment - when it's wet outside we will be boggy in our bodies, when it's windy out side we'll be windy in our digestion and swirling in our minds. Windy days can leave you disoriented.  Time to start (if you haven't already) doing daily oil massages - with a little warm oil.  Either sesame or coconut oil works like a charm.

Discussing all things Airy!
Add some Airy foods to your diet.  That means foods that grow in trees.  This is the season for apples, pears, peaches and nuts. Enjoy them raw, in smoothies or bake a yummy desert.  Our students brought beautiful Air dishes for our feast.  The thought was tossed out that we might need to put together a Polarity Cookbook with all the recipes that we've collected.  Sounds like a plan to me.

Yummy Air Based Meal
Dance in the breeze, breathe deeply, expand your diaphragm and embrace all the Airy moments in your life.  Open your heats - live with compassion - swing from the trees and eat the fruit there.  Raise the vibration of your bodies - wear green - allow your body and mind to explore and be creative.  Laugh loud and often - laughing is one of the best movers of energy!

Sharing our Feast

The original recipe called for Italian sausage.  I didn't include that but, feel free to add this if you want.
Pizza before baking

Grain Free Deep Dish Pizza
 1 bell pepper chopped
1 large onion chopped
1 box chopped mushrooms
2 zucchini chopped

1/4 tea crushed pepper flakes
4-5 cloves garlic minced
2 tea dried basil
1 tea dried oregano
5-6 tomato chopped
8 oz mozzarella or dairy free version of your choice.

"Crust"
6 eggs
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 tea baking powder
1/2 tea salt

Preheat oven to 450
Coat 9x13 pan with coconut oil

(If you want to use sausage - cook this first - then follow instructions that follow)
Finished Grain Free Deep Dish Pizza
In large frying pan saute onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, zucchini & pepper flakes. Cook covered over medium heat for 10-12 min.  You want veggies tender.  Turn heat to low and add garlic, basil, oregano and tomatoes.  Stir well salt to taste.

In medium bowl prepare "Crust".  Blend all ingredients well.  Pour "Crust" mixture into bottom of the prepared 9x13 pan.  Ladle veggie mixture on top. ( It will look weird - just keep going).  Top with most of cheese - leave 1/2 cup for later.  At this point - if you want - you could add pepperoni, bacon crumbles, olive or what ever topping you like. Then sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake for 20 min or until cheese has browned.  Let stand for 5-10 min. before serving. Top with more pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese.
Serves 12

Blessing to all!
Sweet Cheesy kisses!
Namaste`
